A family of Yetis united by football, culture, and community. Playing every Sunday in Beautiful British Columbia since the early 2000s.
HimSoc — short for Himalayan Soccer Club of BC — was founded in Vancouver by a close-knit group of football lovers from the Himalayan community. What began as informal Sunday kickabouts at local parks quickly grew into one of the most spirited community soccer clubs in British Columbia.
Our members hail from Nepal, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Tibet, and beyond — united by a shared love of the beautiful game and a deep pride in their Himalayan heritage. We proudly call ourselves Yetis — the mysterious, fun-loving legends of the mountains.
Over 15+ years of play, the Yetis have competed in tournaments across BC and Alberta, lifted championship trophies, organised cultural events, and built a community that extends far beyond the football pitch.
